Why Balance Matters Picture this,  Your child works on shapes in an app, then gets up from the screen to construct those shapes with colorful blocks. Or they hear a story via tablet, then make their own version with puppets and crayons. This balance is what early learning is all about, exposing kids to the digital leadership tools they’ll need in a future where their successful education path may not even be formed yet, while anchoring them in real-world experiences that ignite creativity, create problem solving and free them to be kids. Children later engage in playful interactive apps that related back to the same story, deepening understanding through active participation. Fusing old and new, kids may use a drawing app to play with colors, etc., but then take up paint brushes to paint those ideas. Technology plays second fiddle, never the headliner.
