Questions
Franchise questions
What is the franchise model?
A play-school partner pays the licence fee and royalty on this page. Territory, and anything a partner buys beyond that, are talked through before an agreement.
Who can apply?
Individuals, partnerships, societies or trusts, and companies can apply. The full application asks about your education, current occupation, whether you will be directly involved, and how the centre will be financed. Use Apply for a Franchise and we will say what we need.
What premises are required?
The full application asks whether premises are ready, whether they are owned or leased, the constructed area and open space, whether the area is residential or commercial, and how densely populated it is. We confirm carpet area, outdoor space, and fit-out with you. If you already have a site, tell us about it in the form. If you do not, say so.
What is the approximate investment?
We talk through the investment with you. The form asks when you hope to begin, not for an amount.
What fees or royalties apply?
For a play school, the franchise policy sets a licence fee of Rs. 2.0 Lacs + GST, charged for 5 years from the date of execution of the agreement. The licence fee has to be paid before the execution of the agreement. Royalty is 15% + GST on each and every transaction or fee collected, except books, bags, uniform and office supplies. We discuss other school levels, master franchise, and referral arrangements with you.
Is teacher training included?
Our franchise material lists training for teachers, advisers, and sales staff before launch, and continued staff training after it. Confirm what your agreement includes before you rely on it.
Is marketing and admissions support included?
Our franchise material lists marketing planning and collateral, launch planning, digital marketing, and admission plans. Confirm what your agreement includes before you rely on it.
What curriculum and technology support is there?
We blend Montessori learning with a researched early-years curriculum, built on activity and creative learning. Our franchise material also lists courseware upgrades, a smart kit with touch-screen demonstration, back-office software, and technology support for administration.
How long does setup take?
Launch depends on readiness. This page does not give a number of weeks.
Can I propose a new location?
Yes. The form asks for a city and a proposed location. Proposing a place does not mean it is approved.
Who handles approvals and licenses?
Local permissions are part of the conversation. Ask who is responsible before you rely on a verbal answer.
How do I start?
